Chantilly Tea Bakes Welsh Pembroke Tarts
Delicious Pembroke Tarts!
Over this past weekend, I was asked by a lovely woman to provide an afternoon tea for her British mother who lives in an assisted living facility. Important elements of the tea service that she hoped I could provide were Welsh Pembroke Tarts and a traditional red salmon spread with vinegar marinated cucumbers. Delighted to try her mother's recipe for the tarts, I pulled out my tart tins. The results were golden, flaky, and sweet with a hint of lemony tartness. The tarts were a hit and were enjoyed with cups of Yorkshire Gold Tea with milk and sugar.
